The ship has it's own special beer named OKKARA Norðlýsið.
The beer is brewed by the Faroese brewery OKKARA. It was presented to the ship on the 30-year jubilee of serving in the Faroese tourist trade.
The Brewery is located in "Velbastaður" which is on the way from Tórshavn to the ferry terminal "Gamlarætt" and "Kirkjubøur".
