"Only good things can come from combining authenticity and modern comforts."
Iconic, authentic, comfortable
Restored by the Faroese artist Tróndur Patursson in the 80s, the Faroese-built wooden sailship TN24 Norðlýsið (nor-lui-si) has become an icon for visitors and locals alike. Offering a perfect way to experience The Faroe Islands from the sea.
Allthough authentic, the ship offers modern toilets, heating and ventilation for our guests comfort.
From October to March, we are on our winter schedule.
The ship is covered for maintenance until January 2024. However, we are available for bespoke events onboard the ship. For example a seafood dinner in our cosy forecastle.
